GPP Street Team Crusade #8 - Cheap Tricks

Well, suffice to say I cannot lay my hands on any artwork at the moment... but there are a couple of items I'd like to mention for the Cheap Tricks Crusade.

The other day I had an electician come over to install some sensor lights.... he left behind quite a a length of wire. When I removed the plastic coating I found some awesome thick copper wire... great for wire wrapping or for use in jewellery making.

Also, something else that is cheap is once you have used an egg .... keep the shell, wash and dry and remove any membrane that remains. Crush up and colour and then attach to your collage - gives a great textured effect!

Baillie's 1st Birthday

Well, Baillie (my Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) turned 1 today! He is such a gorgeous boy..... these little guys are such great companions... and the best thing is that they don't talk back and love you unconditionally! lol

The following pic is of Phyllis's boys, Saggi and BJ who came for a visit with Baillie and Harley!

Just because it is your birthday doesn't mean you can steal my toy!

New home

Here are a couple of random shots......

AuzzArt Zine

Issue 2 of the zine has been favourably received... Thank you to all the fantastic artists who have provided submissions and to those of you who have requested the zine.

Issue 3 is in the pipeline - once again I am looking forward to receiving and publishing more fantastic pieces of work!

Finally moved

Well, the big move has finished.... I am now in my new home and looking forward to setting up the studio and being able to create!

Had to laugh though, the removalists ("movers" to those of you in the US!) said that in 7 years that they had never moved so many boxes.... 90% of them were out of the studio! lol Am going to really sort through stuff as I unpack ....

Well, back to unpacking boxes..... it is ever so peaceful... the outlook from the back patio is fantastic.... lots of different birds and trees - you can even hear the wallabies/kangaroos of an evening - such a difference to living in Sydney!
